Tell me a Story

‘Everyone has a story to tell and a memory to share. Unlock yours in this family adventure down memory lane, experience the stories of people, places and objects we hold dear.’

Tell Me A Story is a devised show lovingly created by HandMade Theatre. The piece explores childhood stories and memories and was inspired by our creative work in care homes for those with dementia.

The show features our signature mix of dynamic storytelling, live music, original songs, beautiful puppets and colourful characters. Uniquely the show can be performed at two scales, a full scale version suitable for national touring to family events, festivals and venues and a smaller compact version suitable for intimate events and spaces including schools and care homes.

The stories dramatised in the show are often developed and adapted to suit new tours, venues, events and performers with the option to include story collecting workshops for a unique experience.
